My laying hens and their attitudes inspired these drawings cut into black slip to reveal the clay below in a technique called sgraffito. The outside retains the dark matte finish and the inside is sealed with a shiny white glaze. All of my pottery is sustainably made in small batches with beautifully unique features. This vase is 10” tall, with a top diameter of 3.5”. The foot of the vase is dark blue.
